When all the teeth on one or both arches are lost, some patients struggle with removable dentures due to instability or lack of retentiveness of the dentures. The All-on-Four is an implant treatment option which involves strategically placing four to six implants around the dental arch. The number of implants needed depends on the quality and quantity of the jaw bone. A dental appliance is then attached to the implants on the day of surgery which allows patients to transition from conventional removable dentures to a fixed tooth replacement.
